I had been waiting for this day to come. The day he (Mr. Money) would no longer provide a roof over my head, fancy trips around the world and expensive gifts. But most of all I had been waiting for the day when the abuse would stop. No more controlling behavior, volatile outbursts, or sexual insults. Today my freedom came.
